Refund Policy
A 30-day money-back guarantee, and a free trial before that so you can find out whether SnapTree fits before paying anything.
30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no form to fill in.
Try before you pay
Every installation starts with a 14-day free trial of the complete application — every feature, no payment method required, nothing held back. The refund guarantee exists on top of that, for the cases the trial did not reveal.
What is covered
- Your first purchase of a monthly or annual subscription, within 30 days.
- A renewal charged in error, or one you did not intend — tell us and we will sort it out.
- A purchase where SnapTree does not work on your Mac and we cannot fix it.
What is not automatically covered
- Renewals after the 30-day window, on a subscription you have been using. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge — see below.
- Purchases where licence activations have been shared outside your own devices, contrary to the Terms of Service.
These are defaults, not walls. If something went wrong, write to us and explain — the aim is that nobody stays charged for software they are not using.
How to request a refund
Email hello@snaptree.app from the address you purchased with, or tell us the purchase date. Please do not include your licence key in the first message.
Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method. They usually appear within a few business days, depending on your bank. Your subscription ends when the refund is issued.
Cancelling instead
If you simply do not want to renew, cancelling is faster than a refund. Open Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription in the app, which opens your billing portal.
Cancelling stops the next charge and nothing else. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, and your library is untouched either way — SnapTree never deletes, moves, or encrypts your files when access ends.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record
Purchases of SnapTree are sold by Lemon Squeezy acting as merchant of record. They are the seller for the transaction, process the payment, calculate and remit sales tax and VAT, and issue your receipt and invoices. Your purchase is also subject to their terms and privacy policy.
We never receive your card details. They do not pass through and are not stored on any system Oosan Studios, LLC operates.
Because they are the merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy also applies its own policies to payment disputes and chargebacks, which may differ from what is written here. Where their policy is more generous to you, theirs applies.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live — including the statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in the UK and EU. Those rights apply in addition to the guarantee above.
This page states a 30-day guarantee. Confirm that the refund window configured in the Lemon Squeezy dashboard matches it. Their configuration was not readable when this page was written, and a store setting shorter than 30 days would mean the checkout refuses refunds this page promises. Remove this note once the two agree.
